Review
This book is full of important lessons in rock climbing such as belay techniques, anchor building, handholds, knot tying, climbing vocabulary, and just how to rock climb in general. The author, John Long, does a great job of teaching the key aspects in rock climbing. The book has a lot of instructional artwork that allows you to visualize proper techniques and understand the methods. Anyone that is new to the rock climbing sport should invest in this book. There's an entire chapter dedicated to getting started and staying alive. This book is also great for more experienced climbers that want to start lead climbing and purchasing more advanced equipment.
